The Agile2Learn project organised an interactive workshop during the 15th international ALL DIGITAL Summit titled “Shaping DIGITAL transformation with and for ALL” held in Prague, Czech Republic on 28-30 September 2022. The Summit was co-organized by the Agile2Learn project coordinator EPMA. The event focused on the effects of digital transformation in different sectors and groups of society, its impact on culture, innovation and education and how digital (and other) skills can help people, with a key focus on the next generations. The over 160 in-person participants included policymakers, digital education stakeholders, trainers and educators, civic society and industry representatives and many more online.
During the half-day-long Agile2Learn project workshop that took place on September 28th, the partners presented Agile fundamentals and principles to the workshop participants. The audience heard about the core of the project and how we aim to implement specific set of agile, digital and transversal competencies into teachers’ work.
Afterwards, the participants experienced practical application of several agile methods within the interactive part of the workshop. They were asked to create a picture representing the ALL DIGITAL Summit event. Split into small teams, the participants assigned themselves different roles, produced a “minimum viable product”, discussed the concept with other teams and got feedback from them, re-evaluated their initial idea and created the final version.
Later local needs and strategies in secondary education and how the agile methodology can meet these needs were discussed. During this part of the workshop a representative of the project’s associated partner the Vysočina Region spoke about how technical education is implemented within the region and discussed ways in which the public authority introduces innovations into ICT education in their territory. His presentation served as a basis for a practical example of the potential application of the project results.
The Agile2Learn project partners also presented the course structure and the future collaborative Communities of Practice platform where the community of teachers applying the agile methods will meet and share they experiences and best practices. This platform will also be used as the repository of the project results: The Curriculum, the Pilot Training Course and the Exploitation Guide and Tools.
