On Wednesday, May 31, the project partners were glad to meet the teachers from all project countries of the Agile2Learn project that introduces Agile Project Based Learning into secondary education as a new enhanced educational approach to promote the development of key transversal competencies needed in the 21st century.
Our teachers met in quite a large group although the end of the school year is approaching and the time capacities are limited 😊
Our teachers shared with us the experience of applying the agile methodologies and principles into their classes/the way they work. We were very happy to hear that our new techniques have brought positive results. The teachers mainly highlighted the increase of engagement of students, development of soft skills (e.g. critical thinking, …) by students, increase of the responsibility and cooperation among students, newly discovered interesting digital tools to support the teaching by teachers etc.
The teachers had time to meet, discuss and also open ways to cooperate with each other. We were glad to hear that our methods are bringing positive changes into teaching and that the students enjoy this way of working with them.
If you are interested in new experience of our piloting teachers, you can already discover the newly created platform Agile2Learn Community of Practice where the teachers are sharing their results, the way they used new methods and techniques and the reactions of the students.
