Agile2Learn Blended Learning Course Completed: Teachers Prepare to Lead Innovative Agile Learning Projects
More than 60 secondary education teachers from Greece, Germany, Italy, and the Czech Republic have completed the Agile2Learn blended learning course, which focuses on utilizing agile methods in the classroom. Funded by the European Union's Erasmus+ Programme, the course aims to equip educators with the skills needed to apply agile methods such as collaboration, project management, and problem-solving in teaching.
Now, the participants are moving to the workplace learning stage, where they will apply their knowledge via project-based learning in secondary schools. The teachers will lead a project-based learning initiative in secondary schools, which will be a new, agile learning experience for the students. Utilizing agile methodologies, the program will focus on fostering collaboration and effective teamwork while incorporating digital tools to enhance the overall effectiveness of the project. The Agile2Learn course is intended to help teachers adapt to the changing educational landscape and provide students with a modern and agile learning experience.
Participants are looking forward to testing their skills and knowledge about agile learning in their workplace. "I'm excited to apply agile methods in the classroom and to see the impact on my students' learning experience" said a participating teacher. The successful completion of the Agile2Learn blended-learning course is a significant achievement for the participating teachers, who are now better equipped to offer their students a dynamic learning experience.
The initiative is part of the European Union's Erasmus+ Programme's ongoing efforts to promote innovation in teaching practices and improve the quality of education. As more teachers adopt agile methods in the classroom, it is hoped that education will become more adaptable to changing needs and students better prepared for the challenges of the future.
The project is organized by five European partner organisations: Consorzio Ro.Ma (IT), EPMA (CZ), Hellenic Open University (GR), University of Thessaly (GR) and Helliwood media & education at fjs e.V. (GER).
