Final project meeting in Athens

The project partners of Agile2Learn project met in the end of October in Athens, Greece. The main aim of the meeting was to go through final work and fine-tuning of the results of the project, the dissemination activities and the multiplier events, the exploitation and sustainability of the project and the follow up of the project and the future of the well-collaborating partnership that formed during the project development. All partners agreed to continue on developing new project ideas to create a follow up of the project with the emphasise on implementing agile methods into education.

University of Thessaly Celebrates the Success of the Agile2Learn Conference

The University of Thessaly, in collaboration with the Management, Digital and Educational Skill Development (MANDEIS) Research Lab, successfully concluded the Agile2Learn Conference at the Gaiopolis Campus. The event marked a significant milestone in the exploration of agile methodologies in modern education.

The University of Thessaly and the Management, Digital and Educational Skill Development (MANDEIS) Research Labs is proud to announce the Agile2Learn Conference, a pivotal event aimed at exploring agile methodologies in modern education. Set to take place on Saturday, 21st of October 2023, from 12:00 to 17:00 at the Gaiopolis Campus, at Larissa, the conference promises insightful discussions, presentations, and workshops.

The Agile2Learn project, spearheaded by a consortium of European partners, focuses on upskilling teachers with agile methodologies, fostering collaboration within the educational context, and equipping educators with transversal competencies. This project showcases the significance of communication, creativity, teamwork, social skills, handling ambiguity, and critical thinking in today’s rapidly changing educational landscape.

Highlights of the Conference:

Introduction to Agile Methodologies
Presentation of the needs and challenges of modern education
In-depth discussion on transversal skills as the new qualification for future employment
Presentation of the Agile2Learn curriculum
Presentation by teachers of the experiences from their participation in the pilot training of the Agile2Learn project
Workshops using agile learning methods
Award of certificates to individuals who attended the Agile2Learn pilot training program

Speakers at the conference include esteemed members from the University of Thessaly, the European Project Management Association, the Hellenic Open University, Heliwood Media & education and Consorzio Ro.Ma. Further, teachers from primary and secondary education present their experiences from their participation in the pilot training of the project.

Agile2Learn project presented during All Digital Summit 2023

Our project was presented during an international event – All Digital Summit 2023, taking place in Zagreb, in Algebra University College, in September, 25-27. EPMA, Helliwood and Hellenic Open University have presented our Agile2Learn project together in the form of a workshop as well as promoting the project results during networking sessions throughout the event.

Agile2Learn Project is an Erasmus+ KA2/ Innovative project aimed at transforming education through the development of an Agile-based curriculum. The developed curriculum is designed to empower educators in primary and secondary education to adapt to the demands of the 21st century, create a dynamic, efficient, and collaborative learning environment and responds to the evolving educational landscape by incorporating Agile methodologies into the classroom.

In May 22 and 23, partners from Agile2Learn project met in Prague, welcomed by EPMA. The consortium summarized the recent development of the project, mainly the end of the pilot training and its finalization, the development of the Communities of Practice, coming dissemination activities and further exploitation of the project.

Press Release 3rd Transnational Project Meeting in Naples

On October 27 and 28, partners of Agile2Learn project met in Naples, welcomed by Consorzio Ro.Ma. During the 2 days meeting, partners had the opportunity to brief project objectives achieved and activities carried out, then facing all the upcoming project phases, focusing on the “Train the Trainer” event in Patras, the Community of Practices platform, and the last details for the delivery of the training course.

Agile2Learn workshop at the ALL DIGITAL SUMMIT 2022

The Agile2Learn project organised an interactive workshop during the 15^th international ALL DIGITAL Summit titled “Shaping DIGITAL transformation with and for ALL” held in Prague, Czech Republic on 28-30 September 2022. The Summit was co-organized by the Agile2Learn project coordinator EPMA. The event focused on the effects of digital transformation in different sectors and groups of society, its impact on culture, innovation and education and how digital (and other) skills can help people, with a key focus on the next generations. The over 160 in-person participants included policymakers, digital education stakeholders, trainers and educators, civic society and industry representatives and many more online.
